As some of you already know,
the recent months have brought some unexpected detours and challenges that forced me to make a pause in my art production. Taking care of my life partner 7/7 as he has lost his autonomy for about 3 months in such a shocking way, has also changed our outlook on life forever. But, happily for both of us, we are natural born peace warriors and always share and have the instinct to take the best part of everything. He’s doing great now and so I am, then I have the space to resume on that transitional path started at the beginning of 2017. I entered a transition last year when I started to feel trapped in my own production. I’ve always been passionate about visual arts in any of its forms from traditional to contemporary, and having explored more fields of visual expression than solely painting, the questioning then started to grow, bringing that seductive mix of anxiety and excitement inherent to any creative endeavor. That uncomfortable burning feeling was the answer I needed to rediscover. I could add more, but I’m a visual artist, not a writer, so let’s see where all of this will lead me to in 2018! Thank you for your interest and support. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! Pierre |
